Pieter de Wit studeerde Supply Chain Management aan de Vervoersacademie in Venlo en de TIAS in Tilburg (MBA) en is sinds 2021 aan Buck Consultant International verbonden.
Pieter heeft de laatste decenia diverse leidende posities bij grote logistieke dienstverleners vervuld in binnen- en buitenland (met name in Azië). Hij is een expert in supply chain-optimalisatie en logistieke uitbesteding in diverse sectoren, zowel up-stream (veelal control towers) als down-stream (met recent veel e-fulfilment oplossingen).
Door de jaren heen heeft Pieter vele tientallen projecten en operaties geleid. Voorbeelden zijn: Amazon, L'Oréal, LVMH, FastRetail, Lego, SC Johnson, JnJ, 3M, Honeywell, Kärcher, Bosch, Schneider Electric, Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco, Yamaha Music, Belkin, Baxter, BD, Sanofi, Airbus.
